2011-2012 SCHOOL YEAR
TUITION AND FINANCIAL AID POLICIES
The role of parents is to sustain the school through their tuition and service.
Full tuition for the 2011-2012 school year will be $6,750 and the service requirement is 10 hours per month. This is the real cost per student per year.
Students on financial aid pay 10% of family income or 10% of family liquid assets, whichever is greater. Parents must also contribute 10 hours per month in service to the school.
Proof of income is required for families claiming less than $27,000 of yearly income. In addition to being used for setting tuition, this information is used anonymously in fundraising materials.
Families may be exempted from the 10 hour service commitment by donating monthly beyond the $6,750 full tuition. The Tutorial School is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization so all donations are tax deductible. The recommended donation is 10% of family income or 10% of family liquid assets.
While we do prorate for a partial year, we do not prorate for part-time attendance. Once enrolled, students are considered to be actively participating in the school’s educational program whether they are on campus or not.
Once the payment schedule is set, payments must be made on time. This money is used by the school to pay its bills. The operation of the school is directly affected by your timely payments.
Tuition must be paid in full by April 1st of the school year in which the student attends.
