Rescue from an emotionally abusive school, protection from the teasing of bullies, refuge from a chaotic and dysfunctional family, escape from a gang, a break from the rat race to discover who you are and what you like to do, a place to be accepted for who you are and to build the confidence and self esteem to chart your own course through life -- these are just some of the ways that your donations are used to help children.
Since 1982 The Tutorial School has been providing an emotionally safe, nurturing place for children in Santa Fe. To ensure that the school continues, we rely on the generosity of staff members; as well as, donations from friends, alumni and their families to help students who would not otherwise be able to attend. The Tutorial School is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation so all your donations are tax-deductible. Our federal tax ID number is 85-0422607. Even a small donation will go a long way. We always need help with cleaning, maintenance, repairs, cooking. Maybe you have something special to teach or share with the students. (Must be approved by the students)
- Donate art supplies or electronic equipment that is less than 5 years old.
- Come to our school to buy pieces that our students or friends overseas have created.
- Create a scholarship in someone's name
- Give to our endowment fund
